For our PBIS reward for good behavior, students attended the Zoodles Animal Education Program. Mr. Chris Lea brought six animals to show to the students.
The blue tongue skink was around 3 years old. He can live up to 12 years. He can lose his tail. His back is a hard as a turtle shell.
Sweetie Pie was a Savannah monitor lizard. He is mean and can bite. He has very sharp nail and can swim.
Princess was the albino corn snake. Princess was smart and figured out how to open her cage. She like to eat mice.
Franklin the red footed tortoise was 6 years old. He can live up to 60 years. He likes to dig deep holes in the ground. He eats plants. He can go three to four months without water.
Blue was the beautiful blue and gold macaw parrot. He can live up to 100 years old. He was two years old. He can talk. Blue is smart and has figured out how to open his cage. He has a big hard beak that can break open hard shelled nuts.
There was a 6 month old baby kangaroo. He is gray as a baby and will turn red as he gets older. Kangaroos have excellent hearing
